1. Connect the printer to the computer
2. When you turn the device on, hold the Cancel button until all lights begin flashing
3. Run the program through a file "f1660.exe" which is not in the folder
4. When the program has started, click on "V.30 patch firmware"
5. Afterwards in the folder a file is automatically created - "FIX_ML1660_V1.01.00.30.fls", "FIX_ML1665_V1.01.00.30.fls" or "FIX_ML1667_V1.01.00.30.fls" – the filename depends on the printer which it’s connected to
6. The created file needs to be dragged to the file icon "usblist2.exe"
7. Wait until the printer reprograms (1 minute) and restarts
8. After that the reprogramming process is finished, restart the printer

The firmware reprogramming file is not protected against any updates from the Samsung website! Do not download any updates yourself!
